Terms of service
The short version. Clinikr is a paid product; paid plans are covered by a separate agreement. The demo at app.clinikr.xyz is free for 7 days, for evaluation only. After 7 days the demo clinic and its data are deleted unless you upgrade. Don’t enter real patient details in the demo. Your clinic owns its data. Clinical decisions are always yours — Clinikr is a tool, not a doctor.
These terms apply when you use Clinikr — the Android app, the web app at app.clinikr.xyz and this website. By creating an account or using Clinikr, you agree to them. If you use Clinikr on behalf of a clinic, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.
1. The service
Clinikr helps clinics run their day: bookings and walk-ins, check-ins, vitals, rooms, consultation notes, prescriptions, bills and documents, with separate home screens for the front desk, nurses, doctors, owners and patients.
Features may change, be added or be removed as we improve the app. We’ll try to give notice before removing something important.
2. Accounts
- You sign in with your email and a one-time code. Keep access to your email account secure, and lock your phone.
- A new email creates a new clinic, and that person becomes its owner. Owners can invite team members by email and choose their roles.
- Owners are responsible for who they invite and for removing people who should no longer have access.
- Patients a clinic adds with an email address can sign in to see their own visits and bills.
- You must give accurate information and be at least 18 years old to hold a staff account.
3. The demo and paid plans
- The demo. Anyone can sign up at app.clinikr.xyz and gets a demo clinic, free of charge, so they can evaluate Clinikr. The demo Android app connects to the same demo. The demo is provided “as is”, without any commitment on availability or support.
- The demo lasts 7 days. We email the clinic owner a day before it ends. After 7 days, the demo clinic and all of its data — accounts, patients, visits, documents and files — are deleted, unless the clinic has been upgraded to a paid plan. A clinic that upgrades keeps everything set up during the demo.
- Don’t store real patient data in the demo — use made-up names and details.
- Paid plans. Clinikr is a paid product. Prices aren’t published; contact us for pricing. Paid plans are governed by a separate agreement or order form, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ. A paid clinic’s data is kept for as long as it uses Clinikr.
- You can stop using Clinikr at any time.
4. Your data
- Your clinic owns the data it puts into Clinikr. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide and improve the service, as described in our privacy policy.
- Under India’s DPDP Act 2023, your clinic is the data fiduciary for its patients’ records and Clinikr is the processor. You’re responsible for having a lawful basis — such as consent — to record your patients’ data, and for meeting the record-keeping rules that apply to your practice.
- Don’t upload data you have no right to use.
5. Clinical responsibility
Clinikr is a record-keeping and workflow tool. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
- Doctors and staff are solely responsible for diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions and every clinical decision.
- Summaries drafted from voice notes are produced by an AI model and can contain mistakes. Review and correct every draft before saving it.
- Allergy alerts and other reminders only show what your clinic has recorded. Always check with the patient.
6. Bills and tax
Clinikr calculates bills from the prices, discounts and tax rates your clinic enters. You’re responsible for those amounts, for your tax registration and filing (including GST, where it applies), and for the content of documents you issue.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use Clinikr to break the law, to store data you shouldn’t have, to send spam, to try to access another clinic’s data, to probe or disrupt the service, or to copy or resell it.
8. Third-party services
Clinikr relies on providers such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Google Firebase, Resend, Anthropic and Expo. When you share a document to WhatsApp, email or another app, that app’s own terms apply.
9. Availability
We work to keep Clinikr fast and available. Unless a separate agreement for a paid plan says otherwise, Clinikr — and always the demo — is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. Clinikr needs an internet connection and doesn’t work offline. Keep your own copies of anything you’re legally required to retain.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Clinikr is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and, unless a separate agreement for a paid plan says otherwise, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Clinikr in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Clinikr at any time. A clinic owner can ask us to close the clinic and delete its data by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk; where reasonable, we’ll warn you first.
12. Changes to these terms
If we make a significant change, we’ll update this page and email clinic owners before it takes effect. Continuing to use Clinikr after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
